the rose garden overlooked by the main porch. This is a literary rose
garden in which all roses are named after authors and characters.
|The southwest yard is a sunny open space
bordered by a berm planted in shrubs and perennials.
||West of the house, in a Zen-like setting,
is the world's only "weeping persimmon," one of many water
features throughout the property.

Although the Ruddick-Nugent House is a
Columbus bed and breakfast, nearby is a
thriving and inspiring art community. The Brown County Art Colony
attracts artists from all over the region to inspire creativity and
imagination. Nashville, Indiana accommodations

on its own. We've renovated the gardens to become a tranquil space
inviting people to enjoy the surrounding natural beauty.
